Kansas Energy Council

The Kansas Energy Council is a 35-member policy advisory group established by Executive Order (see KEC History).

The Council is charged with the development of a comprehensive state energy plan and has adopted a planning schedule to develop background information and policy recommendations on priority topics on an annual basis.

NEW The Kansas Energy Council concluded its 2007 planning cycle with the adoption and release of the background information and recommendations contained in the Kansas Energy Plan 2008.
